Branch Manager – Wolmaranstad

About the role

As a Branch Manager you will lead the Wolmaranstad retail branch of Sanlam Developing Markets, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the execution of the branch strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and standardise the activities, goals and objectives of Sales Consultants in line with the branch strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to ensure an optimal client experience both inside and outside the branch.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, strategy development and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Manage people practices for direct reports in partnership with HR, including talent management, performance reviews and grievance resolution.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5 qualifications.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) and continuous professional development compliance.
• Minimum five years of industry experience, including at least three years in a leadership role.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit‑lending experience.
