Branch Manager – Springs Kwatonga

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Springs‑Kwatonga retail branch of Sanlam Developing Markets, driving customer acquisition, revenue growth and service excellence. You will own the branch strategy, people management and compliance to deliver an optimal client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail branch strategy to grow the customer base and revenue.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities of Sales Consultants in line with strategic goals.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture within and beyond the branch to ensure optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, business planning and sales performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across all branch activities.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports, including talent management, performance, development and grievance handling.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum five years of recent industry experience, including at least three years in a leadership capacity.
• Relevant insurance, credit, lending and service‑management experience.
• Current Class of Business accreditation and continuous professional development compliance.
