Branch Manager - Southgate

About the role

As a Branch Manager for Sanlam Developing Markets in Southgate, you will lead the retail branch, grow the customer base and revenue, and ensure an optimal client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue through execution of the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities of Sales Consultants in line with the strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to enable an optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, business planning and branch strategy development.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee operational people practices in collaboration with HR (talent management, performance, development, grievances, leave, capacity).
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) and CPD compliance.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management experience.
• Insurance sales experience.
• Credit and lending experience.
