Branch Manager – Retail Sales

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Branch Manager for its Moruleng location. The role leads the retail branch, driving customer acquisition, revenue growth and service excellence within the insurance and wealth‑management portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the branch strategy to grow the customer base and revenue.
• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities of Sales Consultants in line with corporate objectives.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to ensure an optimal client experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports, including performance, development and grievance handling.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum five years of industry experience, including at least three years in a leadership role, with proven insurance sales, credit and lending experience.
