Branch Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

As a Branch Manager you will drive growth of the customer base and revenue for Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and executing the branch strategy. You will lead a service‑delivery culture, oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure an optimal client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with the branch strategy.
• Lead service delivery and maintain compliance, quality and risk management.
• Develop business plans, monthly sales and service reporting, and manage operational people practices with HR.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
