Branch Manager – Piet Retief

About the role

As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for growing the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and overseeing the execution of the branch strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, integrate and standardise activities, goals and objectives of Sales Consultants in line with strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to enable an optimal client experience.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operations of the retail branch and develop business plans.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Manage people practices for direct reports in partnership with HR.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management, insurance sales, credit and lending experience.
• Compliance with continuous professional development cycles.
