Branch Manager – Orange Farm

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Orange Farm retail branch of Sanlam Developing Markets, driving growth of the customer base and revenue through execution of the branch strategy. You will oversee sales consultants, ensure compliance, and create an optimal client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the retail branch strategy and business plan.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants to meet targets.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to enhance client experience both inside and outside the branch.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports in partnership with HR.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending.
• Class of Business accreditation and continuous professional development compliance.
