Branch Manager – Leratong City Mall

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Leratong City Mall branch of Sanlam Developing Markets, driving growth of the customer base and revenue through execution of the retail branch strategy. You will oversee sales consultants, ensure a high‑quality client experience, and manage day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue by implementing the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with strategic goals.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to provide an optimal client experience.
• Maintain day‑to‑day branch operations and develop business plans.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across the branch.
• Manage people practices for direct reports, including talent, performance and development.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build relationships.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) and CPD compliance.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
