Branch Manager – East Rand Mall

About the role

As a Branch Manager at Sanlam Developing Markets, you will be responsible for growing the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and overseeing the execution of the retail branch strategy at East Rand Mall.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, integrate and standardise the activities, goals and objectives of Sales Consultants in line with the branch strategy.
• Lead a service‑delivery culture to ensure an optimal client experience both inside and outside the branch.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operations, develop business plans and drive sales delivery.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across all branch activities.
• Manage people practices for direct reports, including talent management, performance, development and grievance resolution.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities and engage key internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with RE1 and RE5, plus 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
• Minimum of 5 years recent industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Service management, insurance sales, and credit/lending experience.
• Current Class of Business accreditation and compliance with CPD cycles.
