Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor – Orange Farm

About the role

Provide sound financial advice and high‑level client service within a branch environment, promoting Sanlam Retail Mass products and cross‑selling value‑added solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Sanlam Retail Mass product range and increase market share through client optimisation and cross‑selling.
• Provide tailored financial advice based on customers' needs, goals and financial means.
• Validate client details, conduct due diligence, submit new business and manage regulatory compliance.
• Service existing client portfolios, manage payments, handle queries, and ensure policy continuity.
• Maintain daily activity reporting, weekly/monthly data collation and support ad‑hoc requests from the Retail Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or marketing; insurance branch experience advantageous.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 and FAIS compliance preferred.
• Ability to manage appointments, walk‑ins and prioritize workload effectively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Sanlam Retail Mass product range and financial advisory principles.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (FAIS, DOFA).
• Strong client relationship management and cross‑selling capabilities.
