Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Lichtenburg)

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets, a subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited, is seeking a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor for its Lichtenburg centre. The role focuses on delivering financial advice, promoting retail mass products and providing high‑level client service within a branch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products and increase market share through sound financial advice and high client service.
• Create opportunities for client optimisation and cross‑selling of value‑added services.
• Deliver retail branch sales and ensure client retention and service excellence.
• Maintain compliance, quality and risk management standards.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities for the branch.
• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
• Experience within insurance branches is an advantage.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• RE5 qualification is advantageous.
• FAIS compliance (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
