Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor

About the role

As a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor you will represent Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) in the Springs branch, delivering tailored financial advice and driving product uptake across a range of insurance and savings solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote SRM products and increase market share through proactive client engagement.
• Provide sound financial advice, identify client needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Cross‑sell value‑added solutions and keep clients informed of new or updated offerings.
• Manage daily appointments, walk‑in clients and follow‑up activities to maximise sales opportunities.
• Service existing client portfolios, send payment reminders, and handle policy changes or cancellations.
• Conduct due‑diligence, validate client details against regulatory requirements and submit new business through proper channels.
• Monitor and act on NTU (Not Taken Up) cases, ensuring corrective actions and persistency of payments.
• Escalate complex queries using the established escalation framework and maintain high client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong sales orientation with a focus on delivering financial solutions.
• In‑depth understanding of SRM product ranges and regulatory standards.
• Ability to assess client financial goals and match them with suitable products.
• Excellent organisational skills to prioritise appointments and walk‑ins.
