Billing Auditor – Health Group (Sebokeng Vaal)

About the role
The Billing Auditor will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in line with industry standards, supporting the Health Group’s billing processes. The role involves auditing patient billing, ensuring compliance with contractual arrangements, and contributing to accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform billing audit duties according to Health Group standards and procedures.
- Review and analyse reports to identify negative trends and implement corrective actions.
- Optimise hospital product billing in line with company requirements and medical scheme contracts.
- Execute end‑of‑case processing on the approved system and maintain accurate supplier invoices.
- Audit patient files as required and forward private patient final bills to the collections department.
Required profile
- Diploma in Nursing (Registered Nurse).
- 2–3 years’ experience in a hospital billing environment.
Required skills
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Experience with SAP (advantage).
