Billing Auditor – Health Group (Sebokeng Vaal, Gauteng)

About the role

The Billing Auditor will ensure accurate billing and compliance for private patient services, supporting the Health Group’s commitment to quality patient care and financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing audits in line with Health Group standards and procedures.
• Review and analyse reports to identify negative trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Optimise product billing in accordance with contractual arrangements with medical schemes.
• Execute end‑of‑case processes on the approved system and maintain accurate supplier invoices.
• Manage billing processes for private patients, generate final invoices on SAP, and forward files to collections.
• Audit patient files per company requirements and medical scheme contracts.
• Adhere to reporting standards by analysing data, spotting discrepancies, and supporting decision‑making.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Diploma Nursing) with 2‑3 years of experience in hospital billing.
• Strong understanding of private hospital billing environments.
• Advanced computer literacy.

Required skills

• SAP (billing module preferred).
• General computer literacy for billing systems.
