Bilingual Spanish Speaking Customer Service Agent

About the role
MCI is seeking full‑time Bilingual Spanish Speaking Agents to join its Cape Town contact centre. In this role you will support a variety of client projects across industries such as healthcare, retail, finance and technology, providing both customer service and basic technical assistance in Spanish and English.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with customers in Spanish and English, handling inquiries about products, services or technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone.
- Build rapport by actively listening, identifying needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Recognise opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell relevant products or services.
- Document interactions accurately and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English (native Spanish speakers highly encouraged).
- Valid work permit or documentation proving eligibility to work in South Africa.
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent high‑school qualification.
- Highly motivated, dedicated and able to adapt to diverse client requirements.
Required skills
- Data‑entry proficiency using a computer.
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication abilities.
