BD Consultant / 360 Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Consultant who will also operate as a 360 Recruiter for a specialist data and analytics recruitment brand. The role is fully remote from South Africa and focuses on generating new client revenue in the UK, US and other European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Map and build a cold client base within a defined data vertical (AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Full‑Stack Software Engineering).
• Identify and prospect hiring managers, department heads and talent acquisition leaders across target markets.
• Win new business through outbound calling, LinkedIn outreach and referrals, using a phone‑first approach.
• Brief the delivery team on client requirements so placements are executed independently.
• Maintain pipeline visibility and provide regular commercial reporting on progress, closures and stalls.

Required profile

• Proven business development billing history in data, analytics or tech recruitment.
• Experience in the UK or US recruitment market with an understanding of client buying cycles and fee structures.
• Comfortable making cold calls and conducting high‑volume outreach.
• Self‑managed with the ability to set targets and structure your own week.

What we offer

• Base salary of R28,000 – R38,000 per month plus commission.
