A growing team helping UK businesses reduce their energy and water costs is looking for a motivated Appointment Setter based in Cape Town, working remotely from home. The role suits someone who enjoys talking to people, opening conversations and thriving in a target-driven, high-performance environment. As the first point of contact for potential UK business clients, you will identify opportunities and book qualified appointments for the senior sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to UK-based businesses
• Introduce the company's energy and water-saving services
• Speak with business owners and key decision-makers
• Qualify leads and identify potential opportunities
• Schedule appointments for the sales consultants
• Maintain accurate notes and updates in the CRM system
• Meet daily and weekly performance targets
• Deliver professional and compliant customer interactions

Required profile

• Previous experience in cold calling, telesales, appointment setting or lead generation
• Comfortable spending most of the day on the phone, handling objections and keeping conversations flowing
• Target-driven mindset and good organisational and admin skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Confidence speaking with business professionals
