About the role
The ACSA Internship Program offers a structured learning experience for interns to gain exposure to various departments and functions within the aviation industry. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to critical projects, and develop essential skills and knowledge required for a successful career in airport management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations and projects within assigned departments.
- Collaborate with team members to support the efficient and effective functioning of airport operations.
- Conduct research, gather data, and contribute to the analysis of key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and projects.
- Provide support in planning and executing airport services and infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of customer service standards and passenger experience initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
- Adhere to safety, security, and regulatory standards within the airport environment.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree or diploma program in areas such as aviation management, engineering, finance, marketing, human resources, or related fields.
- Strong academic record and a passion for the aviation industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and the ability to think analytically.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of airport operations, regulations, or industry trends is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
