Autonomic Disorders Fellowship (1-year Clinical Training)

About the role

The Autonomic Disorders Fellowship is a one‑year clinical training program focused on the diagnosis and management of autonomic nervous system disorders. Fellows join a multidisciplinary team, participate in translational research, and receive extensive hands‑on experience in neurophysiological testing.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with complex autonomic disorders.
• Conduct neurophysiological autonomic testing and interpret results.
• Participate in regular teaching conferences, case presentations, and journal clubs.
• Collaborate with faculty in research laboratories on clinical and translational projects.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary patient care alongside neurology, cardiology, and other specialties.

Required profile

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an LCME‑accredited school.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited adult or pediatric neurology residency.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Current Texas medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• For international graduates: ECFMG certification and eligibility for J‑1 visa sponsorship.
