Audit Senior

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join DPC, part of the Sumer Group, based in Johannesburg. Working in a hybrid model from the 123 Consulting office, you will lead audit engagements for SME clients, collaborating with UK colleagues and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audits, allocating resources and managing timelines.
• Maintain audit quality by adhering to company practice and auditing standards.
• Review and mentor junior auditors, supporting their development.
• Prepare audit findings reports, highlight risks and submit for review.
• Build and sustain client relationships, adapting communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other service teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA), AGA(SA) or ACCA.
• 0‑1 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with UK audit exposure.
• Familiarity with FRS102 and financial statement preparation.
• Experience supervising and training audit juniors.
• Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team.
