About the role
The company is looking for a proactive Assistant Silo Manager to support daily grain operations. This role involves coordinating activities within the silo, ensuring smooth workflow, and assisting the senior manager with administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the day‑to‑day management of grain storage and handling processes.
- Maintain accurate records of grain receipts, inventories, and dispatches.
- Support the silo manager in scheduling, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and transport partners.
- Identify and help resolve operational issues to minimise downtime.
Required profile
- Experience in silo or grain handling environments.
- Strong organisational and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Leadership potential and a practical, hands‑on attitude.
