About the role

Old Mutual is seeking self‑motivated, dynamic individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join us as Aspiring Financial Advisers. In this entry‑level position you will help our valued customers achieve their lifetime financial goals by identifying needs, providing sound advice, and delivering fit‑for‑purpose financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their financial objectives and challenges.
• Provide clear, consultative financial advice and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement customised financial plans that align with client goals.
• Maintain accurate records using sales software and manage sales data.
• Build and strengthen long‑term customer relationships through proactive service.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, action‑oriented and able to balance stakeholder interests.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and ensure accountability.
• Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
