About the role
The SAB ARPL (Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning) Accredited Technical Training Centre provides a pathway for individuals to obtain recognised trade qualifications. Candidates will be assessed, receive targeted gap training and be prepared for a trade test accredited by QCTO/NAMB/DHET.
Key responsibilities
- Undergo the ARPL assessment at the SAB Technical Training Centre in Rosslyn, Gauteng.
- Complete any identified gap training to meet the required competency standards.
- Prepare for and sit the final trade test that leads to official artisan certification.
Required profile
- N2 Certificate with relevant trade theory subjects and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
- Technical trade theory programme quality‑assured by a SETA at NQF level 3 with at least 3 years experience.
- Relevant Engineering NCV at NQF level 3 with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Grade 9 with at least 4 years relevant work experience.
