Architectural Technologist

About the role

Citra is seeking a highly capable Architectural Technologist to translate design concepts into built reality. You will ensure technical excellence, manage documentation, and support interdisciplinary teams across multiple projects focused on innovative and sustainable housing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical documentation process, including preparation and submission of local authority and construction documents.
• Contribute as an integral part of interdisciplinary design and construction teams.
• Manage and maintain comprehensive drawing registers and revision control for all projects.
• Proactively identify potential technical design problems and communicate them early to relevant team members.
• Drive initiative in response to project direction, taking ownership of tasks to meet project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or equivalent professional degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• Proficiency in Revit is non‑negotiable.
• Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines and budgets.
• Flexible, adaptable attitude towards new technologies and modern ways of working.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; fluency in English.
• Genuine interest in alternative building materials and sustainable construction methods.
• Registered with SACAP.
