Architectural Technologist – Full‑time, Durban

About the role

EPA, an award‑winning architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its Durban studio. The role involves tackling technical challenges, producing detailed documentation, and supporting projects from design development through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate construction documentation using Revit.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure design intent is translated accurately to buildable solutions.
• Assist on‑site, providing technical support and resolving construction issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with local building regulations.

Required profile

• National Diploma, B.Tech, or Bachelor in Architectural Technology/Studies.
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience in architectural documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of building detailing and construction methods.

Required skills

• Highly proficient in Revit (rated out of 10 in application).
