Architectural Draughtsman

About the role

An exciting opportunity is opening at a commercial/manufacturing company in Irene, Centurion. The company seeks a motivated and detail‑oriented Architectural Draughtsman to produce accurate design documentation and visualisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models to create detailed visual representations of designs.
• Produce shop drawings for fabrication and construction.
• Generate basic spatial layouts to optimise space and functionality.
• Prepare bill of material schedules in Revit for precise material tracking.
• Create high‑quality 3D renderings using tools such as Lumion or Twinmotion.
• Attend client meetings to discuss progress, requirements and adjustments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub‑contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing high‑quality drawings.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to meet deadlines.
• Creative initiative with the ability to propose innovative design solutions.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Revit for technical drawings and modelling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed technical designs.
• Experience in 3D rendering; familiarity with Lumion or Twinmotion is a plus.
• Team player comfortable working with structural designers, electricians, plumbers and sub‑contractors.
