Architect – Innovative Design & Development Role

About the role

Are you an experienced Architect who enjoys turning ideas into practical, innovative spaces? This role is ideal for someone who combines strong architectural capability with a practical understanding of construction and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural concepts, layouts and design solutions.
• Produce and coordinate detailed architectural drawings and documentation.
• Work closely with construction, development and other internal project teams.
• Ensure designs are practical, innovative and aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate design information across consultants and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions and problem‑solving sessions.
• Use Revit to develop and maintain accurate architectural models and drawings.
• Review designs with consideration for construction methodology, functionality and cost.
• Contribute innovative ideas while remaining open to feedback and robust design discussions.
• Support projects from concept development through to implementation and construction.

Required profile

• Honours‑level qualification in Architecture.
• Approximately 5–10 years of architectural experience (candidates outside this range may also be considered based on capability and experience).
• Experience across architecture, design and construction.
• Previous experience working within an architectural practice, property developer or similar built‑environment environment.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Rendering and visualisation experience would be advantageous.
• SACAP registration is highly advantageous.
• A Project Management qualification or course would be beneficial.
