Architect I – Telecom Software Architecture

About the role

We are looking for an Architect I to provide software architecture guidance across multiple development teams within the telecom domain. The role involves designing end‑to‑end solutions that integrate CSG and third‑party products, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to drive architectural decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural discussions, design and documentation for complex telecom systems.
• Own end‑to‑end solutions that incorporate CSG and third‑party products.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools.
• Mentor developers and provide design guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Research, evaluate, test and implement software systems to meet business needs.
• Respond to user requests within established timeframes and manage multiple concurrent assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the telecom industry.
• Proven experience leading teams of engineers and architects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, TMForum ODA, eTOM, TAM.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, Neo4j.
• Software design patterns and principles.
