About the role
A vacancy has arisen for an Apprentice Mechanic - Petrol at Halfway Durban Central. This is a trainee role suited to someone with a passion for motor mechanics; previous mechanical experience is an advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Undergo practical and theoretical training in the petrol mechanic field.
- Assist the technician with servicing and repairs.
- Undertake theoretical preparation in your own time.
- Assist with good housekeeping.
- Provide technical assistance within the workshop.
Required profile
- Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science.
- N2 Mechanical certificate preferred.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Computer literacy.
- Team player able to interact with other staff members.
- Workshop-related experience is an added advantage.
