Apparel Sales Consultant – The Grove Mall (Pretoria)

About the role

The Apparel Sales Consultant will help build a new apparel brand at The Grove Mall, delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales while maintaining store standards and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a friendly and engaging customer experience, maintaining a lively atmosphere.
• Participate in store meetings to share performance, celebrate top sales, and identify training needs.
• Ensure adherence to trading hours, opening/closing procedures and proper staffing.
• Maintain store appearance, stock levels, signage, planograms and visual merchandising standards.
• Support front‑of‑house operations including pricing, promotions, reductions and donations.
• Monitor and help mitigate loss, flagging any issues for appropriate action.
• Contribute ideas for improving customer experience, campaigns and sales opportunities.
• Assist the broader Apparel team and other stores/projects as required.
• Uphold compliance with company policies, health & safety and loss‑prevention procedures.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail or service‑oriented environment, preferably in apparel or fashion.
• High energy, well‑groomed and reliable, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Understanding of retail procedures, standards, loss‑prevention and health & safety guidelines.
• Flexibility to work any combination of daytime, afternoon, evening, weekend and public‑holiday shifts.
