About the role

This position supports Lilly’s Diabetes and Obesity portfolio by bridging scientific information needs with commercial and regulatory activities. The role works closely with global Medical Affairs, Real‑World Evidence, and brand teams to ensure data‑driven decisions that benefit patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and anticipate scientific information needs of local/regional customers and address questions through data analyses and research.
• Contribute to medical strategies supporting brand commercialization by collaborating with global Medical Affairs, Real‑World Evidence, and PRA teams.
• Disseminate scientific data in compliance with local laws, regulations and Lilly policies, and support medical information associates.
• Establish and maintain collaborations with external scientific experts, thought leaders and the broader medical community.
• Represent clinical needs in the development of clinical strategies, study protocols and review informed consent documents.
• Participate in regulatory labeling activities, provide medical expertise to regulatory scientists and serve on advisory committees.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy, board‑eligible or certified in a relevant specialty/sub‑specialty.
• Completed education and training at an LCME‑accredited medical school.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills with ability to influence others.
• Knowledge of the drug development process and local regulatory environment preferred.
