About the role
Fidelity ADT is recruiting an Alarm & CCTV Assistant Technician for its North operation in Cape Town. This is an entry-level technical role within a permanent position, advertised on 23 October 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with alarm and security installations
- Remove old equipment and run cables
- Drill and mount detectors, panels and contacts
- Assist with system testing and customer handover
- Identify tool and equipment shortfalls
- Clean vehicles and premises after installation
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least one year of wireman experience
- PSIRA Grade C registration
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
Practical electrical or electronic knowledge is advantageous. Salary is not stated.
