About the role
The Learnership Programme offers unemployed South Africans aged 18‑29 the chance to enter the private security industry. Participants will combine classroom‑based learning with on‑the‑job training, working towards an occupational qualification as a Security Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Attend structured classroom sessions at the designated institute.
- Complete practical on‑the‑job training within the airport security environment.
- Assist senior security officers with daily operational duties.
- Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
Required profile
- Age between 18 and 29 and currently unemployed.
- South African citizen; all racial groups are welcome.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong motivation to develop a career as a Security Officer.
