About the role
Calling all senior trade‑tested Air‑Conditioning/Refrigeration Technicians. Our client, a specialist in commercial and industrial HVAC services, is seeking an experienced technician to join their team in the Durban North/Umhlanga area.
Key responsibilities
- Install air‑conditioning equipment including ducting and DX systems.
- Service and maintain all types of air‑conditioning equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in split units, chilled‑water fan coils, air handling units, chillers, package units, cooling towers and pumps.
- Perform wiring tasks and manage staff and client relationships according to SLA.
Required profile
- Trade‑tested Refrigeration certification.
- 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in commercial/industrial HVAC.
- Residence in the Durban area.
Required skills
- Installation of HVAC systems.
- Service & maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Wiring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
