AI Solutions Engineer - Remote SA

About the role

This permanent, fully remote position is based in South Africa and supports UK‑based clients. You will work directly with business stakeholders to design, build, and deploy production‑ready AI solutions that integrate into real operational workflows across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI client deployments from discovery, scoping, and implementation through to training and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to map operational processes and identify AI‑driven automation opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Build AI agents, intelligent workflows, and integrate solutions with knowledge bases, email platforms, CRM systems, and other operational tools.
• Serve as the primary technical contact throughout each client implementation.
• Deliver measurable business value with production‑ready AI solutions and continuously refine them based on client feedback.
• Contribute reusable AI components and best‑practice deployment guidelines for future projects.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience delivering AI solutions that solve real business problems.
• Hands‑on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
• Strong engineering capability to build and deploy production‑grade solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with business stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
