AI Security Specialist – Cybersecurity

About the role

Our client, an AI security platform, is seeking an AI / Security Specialist to strengthen its cybersecurity offering. You will work directly with the founder in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment to harden the platform, accelerate product development and support go‑to‑market activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI‑powered security controls that protect databases from malicious queries and data leakage.
• Implement real‑time policy enforcement, threat and anomaly detection, and comprehensive audit logging.
• Conduct risk assessments for AI agents interacting with systems, data and databases.
• Translate AI security concepts into production‑ready controls and monitoring pipelines.
• Collaborate on product acceleration and market‑ready features while ensuring compliance and operational safety.

Required profile

• Self‑starting professional comfortable with full ownership in a founder‑led, early‑stage startup.
• High integrity, sound judgement and a pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to work independently without constant direction and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.

• 3+ years of practical AI security experience.
