Agronomist & Technical Marketer – Mpumalanga

About the role

Join a leading agricultural company as an Agronomist / Technical Marketer responsible for driving seed product sales and delivering agronomic expertise across the Mpumalanga region. You will act as the primary technical liaison for farmers, helping them improve yields while expanding market share.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Agricol seed products, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Provide on‑farm agronomic and technical advice to improve crop performance.
• Plan, execute, and report on product trials, delivering actionable insights.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with farmers and other stakeholders.
• Travel extensively throughout the territory to support sales and technical engagements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, trial data, and sales activities.

Required profile

• Relevant agricultural or seed‑sales qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent Afrikaans (spoken and written) – non‑negotiable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop professional relationships.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage own schedule.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Mpumalanga.
