Affiliate Account Manager

About the role

Betway Africa is seeking an Affiliate Account Manager to drive player acquisition, engagement, and revenue through strategic affiliate, tipster, and influencer partnerships. You will work in a fast‑paced, commercially driven environment, collaborating closely with internal marketing teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, tipsters and influencer partners.
• Manage affiliate portfolios to drive customer acquisition, engagement and revenue growth.
• Identify, recruit and onboard new affiliate partners and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Plan, launch and optimise affiliate campaigns around key sporting events and promotional periods.
• Brief partners on creative assets, promotions, messaging and campaign objectives.
• Monitor daily affiliate performance, analyse traffic quality, conversion rates, CPA, ROI and customer lifetime value.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, run tests and scale successful partnerships.
• Compile regular performance reports, improve tracking and attribution, and present data‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with CRM, Creative, Social Media, Data and Marketing teams to align affiliate activity with broader campaigns.
• Support the Bet Influencer Programme and ensure synergy between influencer and affiliate initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, account management, relationship management or business development.
• Strong understanding of online marketing metrics such as CPA, ROI, conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, results‑oriented environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
