Advancing Financial Adviser – Three Rivers, Vereeniging

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking an Advancing Financial Adviser to join its Three Rivers team in Vereeniging. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering high‑quality service while supporting the growth of the business through prospecting and relationship development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standard customer service, handling routine inquiries and directing complex matters to senior colleagues.
• Assess compliance with internal standards and external regulatory codes for routine requests.
• Receive and assist visitors, ensuring accurate capture of customer details in the CRM system.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Make outbound calls and in‑person visits to prospect and develop new customer relationships.
• Support business development tasks and follow established procedures for sales and data entry.
• Maintain operational compliance by adhering to mandatory quality and regulatory procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to balance stakeholder interests, build networks and communicate effectively.
• Strong customer focus, accountability, trust‑building and interpersonal savvy.
• Capability to manage complexity in a fast‑moving financial services environment.
