Activations & Operations Manager – Field-Based (Johannesburg area)

About the role

Join a fast‑moving, technology‑driven wellness vending business that places premium massage chairs in high‑traffic locations across South Africa. As the Activations & Operations Manager you will be the on‑the‑ground leader responsible for ensuring equipment performance, site growth, and seamless day‑to‑day operations in Johannesburg and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shop fitters, electricians and other contractors for equipment delivery, installation and branding.
• Manage relationships with service providers to schedule repairs and conduct regular quality checks at active sites.
• Source, screen, train and schedule promotional staff, applying standard scripts and onboarding procedures.
• Monitor revenue and performance data via the Nayax application, produce reports and flag operational issues.
• Identify new activation opportunities in shopping centres, airports and premium venues through site visits and partner outreach.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in activations, field operations or project management.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong logistics and stakeholder coordination abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable working with performance dashboards and reporting tools.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
