Accounts Receivables (Debtors) Manager

About the role

A well‑established automotive company is seeking a Debtors Manager for its Kempton Park operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full Accounts Receivable/Debtors function.
• Supervise and manage the debtors team.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, allocations and reconciliations.
• Monitor debtor ageing and outstanding balances.
• Drive collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Resolve customer account queries and payment disputes.
• Process receipts, credit notes and adjustments.
• Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Prepare debtors ageing reports and management reports.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer account records.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding account queries.
• Ensure adherence to company credit control and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Matric with a relevant Accounting/Finance qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable/Debtors.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong Sage experience.
• Good knowledge of debtors, collections, reconciliations and credit control.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in a high‑volume environment is advantageous.
