Accounts Receivable Processor

About the role

Woolpert is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Processor to join its Finance team in Johannesburg. This fully remote role supports the processing of incoming payments, maintains accurate AR records, and administers employee corporate credit cards while working US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily incoming payments.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, resolve discrepancies, and post unapplied payments.
• Update the AR collections spreadsheet and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Administer employee corporate credit cards – applications, issuance, renewals, replacements, and cancellations.
• Review bank fraud notifications and promptly escalate alerts.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team for onboarding and off‑boarding of cardholders.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in accounts receivable processing.
• Proficiency with core accounting and ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of AR principles and workflows.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work US business hours (2:00 PM‑11:00 PM SAST) and maintain a reliable home‑office setup.
