Accounts Payable Administrator – Cape Town

About the role

The Legal Services client in Cape Town City Centre is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Finance Department. You will ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintain strong vendor relationships, and help manage cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Execute supplier payments and perform reconciliations.
• Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure timely posting.
• Support internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve queries and maintain records.
• Prepare reports for the finance team and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with a pass in pure mathematics and/or accounting.
• Higher Certificate or Diploma in Financial Accounting/Finance.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in an accounts payable or creditors role.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency with SAGE ERP300 and its accounts payable modules.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication skills.
