Accounting Manager – Temporary (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Accounting Manager to provide maternity cover on a temporary basis. The role will oversee country‑level finance activities, ensuring compliance with local fiscal regulations, IFRS, and internal policies while supporting the Country General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain local forecasts, budgets and financial reporting.
• Advise business units on financial performance, variances and risk, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure strict implementation of IFRS and internal finance guidelines.
• Approve payments, expense reimbursements and purchase orders; manage vendor queries and supplier master data.
• Oversee accounts payable, invoice processing, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Manage collections, cash application, credit exposure and customer billing.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team to ensure delivery of finance services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of local fiscal regulations and IFRS.
• Ability to analyse financial data, identify issues and implement improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work with cross‑functional teams.
