About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Clerk to join our team in Morningside, Durban. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop core accounting skills while supporting daily financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices, receipts and payments accurately.
- Maintain and reconcile ledger entries.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Prepare basic financial reports for internal review.
- Handle routine correspondence with vendors and clients regarding billing.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience in an accounting firm.
- Tertiary qualification with Accounting as a major.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with standard accounting software.
