About the role
This position supports the accounting team in Pretoria East, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with SAIPA standards. It is ideal for candidates currently studying or recently graduated with a BCom Accounting degree.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
- Prepare financial records, supporting documentation, and capture financial information.
- Process VAT and tax‑related administration tasks.
- Perform reconciliations and general ledger activities.
- Support senior accountants with client portfolio tasks.
- Maintain compliance with SAIPA procedures and handle related administrative duties.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or holding a BCom Accounting degree.
- Strong academic background in accounting and finance.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
