Accountant – Motor Dealership (Boksburg)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a motor dealership in Boksburg. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, supporting cash flow, and ensuring accurate reporting across the dealership’s various functions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and allocate accounts.
• Receipt processing, debtor allocation and reporting.
• Cash‑flow forecasting and FIC reporting.
• Allocate cash sheets and manage petty cash and banking cash.
• Assist with accounts payable and vehicle administration tasks.
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations.
• Coordinate uniform fittings, ordering and processing.
• Process floorplan payments and DIC transactions.
• Control ordering books and perform other ad‑hoc administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and work independently.
• Capable of performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude with good communication skills.
• Experience in a motor dealership environment is preferred.
