Accountant – Manufacturing Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking an outgoing and confident accounting professional to join a well‑established manufacturing company in Johannesburg. The role offers the chance to take ownership of bookkeeping functions, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and support the finance team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the full bookkeeping function, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Process and reconcile transactions, performing regular account reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end procedures, preparing reports and ensuring timely closing.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in line with company policies.
• Support daily accounting activities and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Extroverted, confident and able to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
