About the role
Manufacturing is all about precision, and so is great accounting. If you are an Accountant who finds balancing the books as satisfying as a perfectly executed production run, you will help drive success from the numbers up.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Process journals, accruals, and general ledger transactions.
- Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities where required.
Required profile
- BCom Accounting degree (Honours advantageous).
- 1–3 years experience in an accounting or junior accountant role.
- Exposure to the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
