Accountant II – Cost Accounting

About the role

Franklin Electric is seeking an Accountant II to join its Finance team in Johannesburg. You will play a key role in cost accounting, helping the company deliver sustainable water management solutions through accurate cost analysis and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cost accounting procedures to allocate costs by department and product.
• Prepare, analyse and audit cost records and reports.
• Estimate costs for new product proposals within operating units.
• Perform accounting duties, financial planning, budgeting and reporting of budget variances.
• Support cost‑control and cost‑analysis programs.
